I didn't have the first version of the church's DOS scriptures, but i had one of the early versions of them. The thing i remember most is how amazingly and astonishingly fast the search algorithm was, especially compared to Windows-based computerized scriptures i acquired over the next several years.

Watch it, Mike.

Besides a spam filter, I don't really moderate the comments.

But I could start.

Now really ... is anything that makes the lives of Mac users easier really such a good thing? (just kidding Dave, nota bene - don't crack wise to the moderator of a moderated site.)

Check out AncestryInsider for updates as FamilySearch is updated in rolling upgrade based on temple district.

I think it enables most if not all family history work to be done online and at home so Mac users can do it too on their computers. Sounds like exciting stuff.
