What could Mitt Romney be up to?

Hmm. What could Mitt Romney be up to?

On Tuesday, he’s in Chicago to speak at a fundraiser for a prospective state treasurer candidate. On Wednesday, he’s in Washington to headline a fundraiser for the National Republican Senatorial Committee. On Thursday, he’s again the keynote speaker at a fundraising dinner for Republicans in New York City.

After that, he’s heading back to his oceanfront home in La Jolla, Calif., to continue writing newspaper columns and a political book.

Sounds like a busy guy for someone without a job. And how many multi-millionaires move out of his “ski home” and drive across country in a U-Haul?

    That’s how he stays a multi-millionaire!

    Maybe he’s “going Galt.”

At least he is not pretending to be a senator while really running for president.

Good points by all but I think CA is the last place where anyone would want to “Go Galt.” Colorado (or Utah) is still probably the best place. ;-)

Back to reality (sort of), I think it would be great if Mitt became the new CEO of GM. Too risky politically, but what a way to prove he’s the ultimate turnaround artist.

Mitt can be the best turnaround guy in the world, but until he realizes that he cannot win by appealing only to the right-wing of the Republican Party — until he stops snubbing every minority in America, for example — he’ll never win anything. He’ll be — forgive me — just like BYU during March Madness.
