President Monson to visit President Obama Tomorrow

President Monson is to visit with President Obama tomorrow at the White House.

President Barack Obama is scheduled to meet with Thomas Monson, president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in the Oval Office on Monday, according to the White House.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., is expected to be present at the 1:30 p.m. meeting.

UPDATE: The SL Trib article has been updated to include a Church spokeswoman describing tomorrow’s appointment as a “brief courtesy visit.” The article also revisits the posthumous temple baptism for Pres. Obama’s mother. I doubt that will be an issue but don’t Church leaders usually give dignitaries a copy of their genealogy?

    I know Monson should be a peaceful man, but I get this mental image of him slapping Obama aside the head and saying, “What’s the matter with you?!”

    Nothing could be more repugnant and disgusting than have the leader of the Mormon faith meet with the leader of the Abortion movement in America.

    Obama has spoken, when he was a Senator, about the virtues of third trimester abortions when doctors yank healthy young innocent babies form the womb and throw them on a table to die, or suck their brains out through a hold they drill in the baby’s head, or poison them with strong chemicals so the baby dies. THIS IS BARRACK HUSSEIN OBAMA. Yank the third trimester baby out on the table and let it die.

    To have Monson pour adulation on this man is very telling of Monson himself. Instead of drawing the line and saying no more abortion and no more support of any kind to those who promote, perform or encourage abortion — Monson adores Obama. Sick.

    Until we isolate Obama and his ilk on Abortion, the crime of Abortion will not stop. Monson is simply a patsy at the wrong time. The Gospel is true; Monson is just a mere man and nothing else.
