So why was Orrin Hatch writing a Hanukkah song, anyway?

Thanks for the link to that video. It was priceless. I sincerely wish the Mormon Tabernacle Choir would respond with some sort of thank you video. It would be a great missionary tool.

David, there was no mention of Proposition 8 in the video “A Song for the Mormons” from the Tonight Show — so I guess that should be deemed progress from the LDS Church’s perspective.

    That was awesome!

A song about how they don’t have a clue what we’re about is infinitely better than a song about our negative stereotypes. I liked it. And the Tappernacle Choir was great!

Frank – Sen. Hatch likes to write songs. I guess he wanted to do some ecumenical outreach.

Stephen – That’s a very good point. Like Duke, I liked the video and thought it was funny but it’s nice to see Hollywood poke fun at the Church without a hard political edge.

Tim – Good to hear from you.

How appropriate. My obligatory ad was for Ketel One Vodka. :)

That video is freaking brilliant though.
